Tarek has +35 years of experience in FMCG, having held various executive positions at PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble. He served as Egypt's former Minister of Trade and Industry between 2015 and 2018.
Tarek spent 3 years as a Partner at the Abraaj Group, where he was responsible for managing 40 FMCG portfolio companies.
Prior to Abraaj, Tarek spent 18 years at PepsiCo, where he led operations in the MEA region, doubling profits within a 3-year timeframe and 12 years at P&G.
